Design, fabrication, finish and initial installation of a rendition of the bow, deck and sail of an ancient Viking ship for an Icelandic bio-tech company. This event build first displayed in Caesar’s Palace, LVNV, and has gone on to more than a dozen venues around the country. The prow, hull, deck and yards (spars) are of red oak, with an aged, distressed scenic finish. The figurehead, or “drakhuvud” was carved by James Gould from a photograph.
