National Civil Rights / Nike

Tigerbelles

We provided development and proof-of-concept work, before executing this piece with Kevin Pierce,
who conceived of and developed the project. The substrate is 5ft x 10ft x 1” acrylic, and the design is
represented in over 20,000 anodized runners’ spikes. The piece resides in the National Civil
Rights Museum in Memphis, TN. It was commissioned by Nike, who provided sponsorship to the
historic and record-breaking Tennessee State University women’s track club, the Tigerbelles. This was a
collaboration involving a number of people outside of 5TM. For more information, reach out to us.

We are interested in talking about your project.

We can develop a concept from the beginning, or integrate along the way.

We are interested in you.

We are always looking to connect with other people who make things, as friends, resources, and future employees.

We are all in this together.
